Biography
Rakhanov Meyrlan Akylbekovich was born in 1988 in the Karaganda Region. He graduated from the Karaganda Economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz with a degree in Public and Local Administration.
From 2010 to 2011, he served in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
He began his professional career in 2011 at the Department of Internal Policy of the Karaganda Akimat.
In 2012, he worked as a leading specialist at the Tax Administration of the Karaganda Region.
From 2012 to 2013, he served as Chief Specialist at the Department of Internal Policy of the Karaganda Regional Akimat.
Between 2013 and 2016, he held the positions of expert and chief expert in the Print Media Department of the Information Committee.
From 2016 to 2021, he worked as an expert, consultant, and inspector in the Press Service of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From July 2021 to December 2023, he headed the Press Service Sector of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From January 2024 to July 2025, he served as Chairman of the Information Committee under the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On July 31, 2025, he was appointed Deputy Akim of the Abai Region.
