Bekeyev Onal Botayuly

Police Major General Bekeyev Onal Botaiuly graduated from the Kazakh State Agrarian University in 1997, the Kazakh Humanitarian Law University in 2002, and the Kazakh University of Economics, Finance and International Trade in 2014.

He began his service in the internal affairs bodies in 1998 as an inspector of the Department of State Security Service under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 1999 to 2015, he served in the internal affairs bodies in various positions of middle and senior commanding staff.

Since December 2015, he has been the Head of the Specialized Security Service Department of Astana.

Since 2018, he has served as Deputy Head of the Department of Internal Affairs of Almaty Region.

From August 2018 to 2019, he was Deputy Head of the Personnel Policy Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Since 2019, he has been Deputy Head and Head of the Transport Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In November 2022, he was appointed Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

He has been awarded the Order “Aibyn” II degree, breast badges “Excellence in Internal Affairs Bodies” and “Honored Employee of Internal Affairs Bodies,” as well as medals “For Contribution to Law and Order” and “For Contribution to the Development of International Cooperation,” along with other юбилейные and ведомственные awards.
