Сексембаев Марат Исламханович

Sexembaev Marat Islamkhanovich, born on 04.02.1979, a native of the city of Arkalyk, Kostanay region, graduated from Karaganda State University named after E.A. Buketov, majoring in Law.

Married, raising four children.

In 2000, he began his career in the Prosecutor's office of the Karaganda region.

He has consistently held senior positions in the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan and in the Committee on Legal Statistics and Special Accounts at the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

He headed the Department of Analytics and Strategic Planning, the Registration Service and Legal Aid Committee of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

He headed the Department for the Disclosure and Prevention of Corruption Cases and the Office of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Combating Economic and Corruption Crimes (Financial Police).

In 2014, he was appointed Deputy Head of the Department of Law Enforcement System of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2016, he became the Head of the Public Interest Protection Service of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 2017 to 2021, he served as the Prosecutor of the Karaganda Region, and since 2021, he has been the Head of the Office of the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From November 7, 2022, to September 29, 2025, he served as the Rector of the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On September 29, 2025, he was appointed Prosecutor of the Kostanay Region.

He holds the rank of State Councilor of Justice of the 3rd Class.

He has received departmental and anniversary awards.
