Igembaev Kusain Abzalbekovich was born on April 12, 1962 in Balkhash, Karaganda region.
He graduated from E.A. Buketov Karaganda State University, majoring in jurisprudence.
He began his career in the prosecution bodies in 1983 in the former Zhezkazgan region, where he worked as an investigator in the Prosecutor's office in Zhezkazgan and the Zhanaarkinsky district until December 1987. Then, until September 1988, he was an investigator in the Prosecutor’s Office of the Zhezkazgan region.
From 1988 - 1992 he was a senior investigator in the Prosecutor’s Office of Balkhash city.
In 1992, he was elected a judge of the Balkhash city court, then worked as a senior assistant of the Balkhash environmental Prosecutor's office.
From 1993 to 1998, he worked as a deputy prosecutor of the city of Balkhash, later transferred to the head of the department of the Prosecutor's office of the Karaganda region.
From 1998 - 2001 – The Prosecutor of the Zhanaarkinsky district of the Karaganda region.
From 2001 - 2002 - The Prosecutor of the Bukhar-Zhyrau district of the Karaganda region.
From 2002 - 2006 - The Prosecutor of the city of Temirtau.
From 2006 - 2008 - First Deputy Prosecutor of the Karaganda region.
Since February 2008, he served as a Deputy Chief Military Prosecutor of the Republic of Kazakhstan, then was First Deputy Chief Military Prosecutor of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2015, he was appointed Head of the Department for Supervision of the Legality of the Pre-trial Stage of the Criminal Procedure of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan, then he served as a Head of the Department for Supervision of the Legality of Criminal Prosecution of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On August 28, 2017, by order of the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Kazakhstan, he was appointed Prosecutor of the East Kazakhstan Region.
Since May 2021, by the Order of the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Kazakhstan, he was appointed Prosecutor of the Karaganda region.
He has a class rank of State Counselor of Justice of the 3rd class.
