Shigambayev Murat Kanapiyavich

Biography
Shigambayev Murat Kanapiyavich was born on 29 October 1976 in the city of Balkhash, Karaganda Region.
In 2001, he graduated from Zhezkazgan University named after O.A. Baikonurov with a degree in Economics and Management. In 2005, he graduated from the Kazakhstan-Russian University with a degree in Law. In 2012, he obtained a Master’s degree in Economics and Business from the Karaganda University “Bolashak”, and in 2013, he earned a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
He began his professional career in 1994 as a Maintenance Fitter at the Repair and Mechanical Service Unit of the Balkhashmed Production Association. Since 2001, he has been serving in the civil service.
From 2021 to 2025, he held the position of Head of the Internal Audit Service of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Financial Monitoring.
Since January 2026, he has been serving as Head of Department – State Auditor at the Internal Audit Service of the Office of the Akim of Almaty.
