Biography
Zhakipbayev Kairat Tulegenovich was born on February 15, 1964.
Graduated from Kazakh State University with a degree in Law (1985). DBA program, AlmaU Graduate School of Business (2018). Institute for Advanced Training of Senior Personnel of the USSR Prosecutor's Office, Moscow (1990).
Work experience: from August 1985 to December 1995, he served in the prosecutor's office from the investigator of the district Prosecutor's Office to the Head of the Department for the Investigation of particularly dangerous Crimes of the Prosecutor General's Office. From January 1996 to February 2000, he held senior investigative positions in the bodies of the State Investigation Committee and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan. From February 2000 to December 2004 - Director of the Center for Legislative Activity and Monitoring, Head of the Legislation Department of the Mazhilis of the Parliament. From December 2004 to February 2006, Deputy Chairman of the Financial Control and Public Procurement Committee of the Ministry of Finance. From March 2006 to May 2008, Adviser to the Chairman of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the 3rd and 4th convocations. From May 2008 to May 2017, Managing Director for Legal Support and Risks of KEGOC JSC. From May 2017 to October 2020, service in the Prosecutor's office - Head of the Service for Supervision of the Legality of Sentences, Chairman of the Committee of legal statistics and special accounts of General Prosecutor’s office of Republic of Kazakhstan. From October 2020 to January 2023, Head of the State Legal Department of the Presidential Administration.
Appointed judge of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan (from 01.01.2023).
Titles: Honored Worker of the Internal Affairs Bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Honorary Worker of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Was conferred II degree "Dank" Order state award.
