Kenzhebekov Ruslan Aitykenovich
Deputy Akim of the Karaganda Region for Agro-Industrial Complex, Veterinary, and Environmental Management.
Biography
He was born in the Karaganda region in 1978.
He holds three higher education degrees – he graduated from E.A. Buketov Karaganda State University, Karaganda “Bolashak” University, and the Academy of Justice under the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan. By profession, he is a lawyer; Bachelor of Economics and Business; Master of Law.
He has been in public service since 2002. He worked in the Akim’s Office of the Abai district. Later, he held various positions in the Department of Justice of the Karaganda region. He headed the Antimonopoly Inspectorate for the Karaganda region, as well as the Regional Department for Competition Protection and Development. He also served as a consultant in the Department of Public Service and Personnel Policy of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From 2023 to 2024, he served as Akim of the Aktogay district. Afterwards, he worked as a Regional Inspector in the Department of Regional Development and Control of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From September 2024 until his current appointment, he headed the Committee on Antimonopoly Policy of the NGO “Association for Business and Infrastructure Development ‘ORKENDEU.’”
On July 23, 2025, he was appointed Deputy Akim of the Karaganda region for Agro-Industrial Complex, Veterinary, and Environmental Management.
