Astana, August 25, 2026 – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Arman Issetov received Chargé d’Affaires of the Swiss Confederation in the Republic of Kazakhstan Giorgio Pompilio on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission in Astana.
During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues of Kazakh-Swiss cooperation, as well as prospects for its further development. Particular attention was paid to cooperation in the water and environmental sectors within the framework of the “Blue Peace Central Asia” (BPCA) initiative. The importance of steadily developing practical partnership in the fields of transport, pharmaceuticals and environmental protection was emphasized.
In conclusion, Arman Issetov thanked Giorgio Pompilio for his contribution to strengthening bilateral ties and wished him every success in his future diplomatic career.
