Official applications are now open for the «Smart City Accelerator,» an intensive program organized by the Aqmola Hub technopark in partnership with Digital Aqmola. The program aims to identify and implement innovative solutions designed to transform the urban environment, making it more comfortable, safe, and technologically advanced.
Teams ready to offer deployable services, platforms, or devices are invited to participate across critical sectors, including agriculture (AgroTech & Earth), urban infrastructure and housing and utilities (Smart Utilities & GovTech), ecology and environmental monitoring (Eco & Environment), as well as transport and tourism (Smart Tourism & Mobility).
Throughout the two-month intensive program, participants will collaborate with experienced mentors and industry experts to transform their concepts into viable pilot projects. The program features a hybrid format, with the majority of sessions conducted online.
The acceleration program will culminate in a Demo Day scheduled for November 10. During the final presentation, leading teams will have the unique opportunity to pitch their developments directly to municipal authorities, government representatives, and potential investors. The most successful solutions will have the opportunity to be implemented as pilot projects within the urban environment of Kokshetau.
«Our goal is to provide teams with the opportunity to test their solutions in real urban conditions and receive direct support for scaling,» the organizers note.
