Kazakh mountaineer, musician, and actor of the Kazakh National Musical and Drama Theatre named after Kalibek Kuanyshbayev, Alibek Kaiyrbek, raised the current Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kazakh dombra to the summit of Razdelnaya Peak (6,148 meters) in the Pamir Mountains.
The ascent was carried out as part of the international cultural and patriotic project "The Dombra on the Summits of the World," which aims to promote Kazakhstan, its culture, state symbols, and national values on the international stage.
Over the years, as part of this project, Alibek Kaiyrbek has completed a series of remarkable ascents to the highest peaks of Europe, Africa, the Himalayas, the Tian Shan, and the Pamirs, where he performed traditional Kazakh kui on the dombra. Each expedition serves as an opportunity to proudly represent the Republic of Kazakhstan and introduce the international community to the rich history, culture, traditions, and achievements of the Kazakh people.
At the summit of Razdelnaya Peak, Alibek Kaiyrbek performed traditional Kazakh kui on the dombra and raised the current Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan. During his international expeditions, he introduces climbers from around the world to Kazakhstan's history, culture, state symbols, and the country's Fundamental Law.
In 2025, to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Alibek Kaiyrbek became the first person in history to raise the Constitution to the summit of Island Peak in the Himalayas. In 2026, he continued this patriotic tradition by raising the current Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan to a summit in the Pamir Mountains.
This initiative contributes to strengthening Kazakhstan's international image while promoting constitutional values, national culture, and patriotism around the world.
