    Chairman of the Almaty Regional Maslikhat Kuat Baigodzhayev took part in a regular meeting of the Commission on Constitutional Reforms and actively participated in the discussion of the draft of the new Constitution, which is considered important for the country’s development.

    During the meeting, the main amendments proposed to the document and their impact on society, the system of public administration, and the protection of citizens’ rights were comprehensively reviewed.

    The participants discussed proposals aimed at further strengthening the rule of law, improving mechanisms for protecting the rights and freedoms of citizens, and addressing current social issues.

    Special attention was paid to the importance of constitutional reforms for the sustainable development of the country and maintaining social harmony.

    The participants also emphasized the need, amid rapidly developing modern technologies, to ensure the security of personal data, regulate access to information, and clearly define citizens’ digital rights at the legislative level. In this regard, the importance of guarantees enshrined at the constitutional level was highlighted.

    The meeting also focused on the role of workers in society. It was emphasized that the draft Constitution strengthens the principles of social justice, protection of labor rights, improvement of citizens’ well-being, and priority development of human capital.

    The meeting of the commission served as an important platform for exchanging views aimed at improving the draft of the new Constitution in line with public interests and creating a strong legal foundation for the country’s future development.
