A joint meeting of the standing committees of the Almaty Regional Maslikhat on the issues of “Housing and Communal Services, Construction and Architecture, Development of Transport and Logistics Infrastructure” and “Agriculture, Land Relations, Veterinary Medicine and Ecology” was held.
The following issues were considered on the agenda:
- Development (adjustment) of master plans for settlements of the Almaty Region.
- Issues related to the construction of social facilities in the Almaty Region.
- Issues of reconstruction of irrigation networks in the Almaty Region, as well as modernization of wells and pipelines to provide water supply to pastures on land plots.
- Approval of the work plan of the standing committees for 2026.
- Approval of payment rates for the use of surface water resources in the Almaty Region for 2026.
- Report on the implementation of the environmental protection action plan financed from the budget of the Almaty Region for 2023–2025.
- Approval of the environmental protection action plan of the Almaty Region for 2026–2028.
- Current issues in the development of the fishing industry in the Almaty Region and ways to address them.
- Subsidization of the fishing industry in the Almaty Region and measures for its development for 2025–2027.
