Members of the Standing Committee of the Almaty Regional Maslikhat on issues of agriculture, land relations, veterinary medicine, and ecology visited agricultural facilities located in the city of Alatau, as well as in the Zhambyl, Talgar, and Balkhash districts, and reviewed the progress of work in the agricultural sector.
During the visit, the committee members observed the harvesting process and held meetings with local farmers. During the meetings, agricultural producers presented their proposals and raised pressing issues related to the development of agriculture.
In addition, the committee reviewed the activities of dairy and livestock farms, feedlots, and poultry farms. The condition of material and technical facilities, production capacities, infrastructure, as well as compliance with environmental standards were considered.
The discussions also covered issues of agricultural support, rational use of land and water resources, ensuring veterinary safety, and maintaining ecological balance. Following the discussions, specific proposals were developed aimed at the further development of the region’s agricultural sector
