Kazakhstani citizens received over 51 million public services through eGov in 2026

In the first ten months of 2026, Kazakhstani citizens accessed more than 51.1 million public services online. Of these, over 32.7 million were delivered through the eGov Mobile app and more than 18.3 million through the eGov.kz portal. This means that nearly two-thirds of all the services were accessed via smartphones.

The eGov Mobile now offers more than 1.100 public services and other digital services. The app allows users to obtain certificates and documents, handle administrative matters arising from various life events, and use digital documents.

The app currently provides access to 40 digital documents, including identity cards, driving licenses, birth certificates and student ID cards. In cases provided for by the law, these can be used on an equal footing with the original physical documents.

Alongside the mobile app, the eGov.kz portal remains one of the main channels for accessing public services. A phased transition to eGov 3.0 began in 2026, introducing a new approach to digital service delivery. The updated platform is designed to make interaction with government services more convenient, simplify access to services and support the further development of proactive and intelligent solutions.

“Digital public services have become a familiar part of everyday life in Kazakhstan. More and more citizens are choosing to access services online because it allows them to take care of what they need quickly and conveniently. Our task is not simply to digitize services, but to make them as user-friendly, clear and convenient to access as possible. We are also developing intelligent solutions to support this work, such as eGov GPT, which helps users find the information they need and understand how to access public services by describing their situation in everyday language”, said Shynggys Orazalimov, Chairman of the Management Board of National Information Technologies JSC.

Digital services for entrepreneurs also continue to expand. In the first ten months of 2026, more than 1.8 million public services were delivered through the eGov Business app. The app has over 46.000 monthly users, with around 5.300 entrepreneurs using it actively each day.

The most popular service among entrepreneurs is obtaining a certificate confirming an individual’s participation in legal entities, branches and representative offices, which was accessed more than 703.000 times. Information on registered legal entities, branches and representative offices was requested over 470.000 times, while certificates confirming whether a legal entity has branches and representative offices were obtained just over 267.000 times.
