During the meeting, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev underscored the importance of NVIDIA President Jensen Huang’s visit in strengthening bilateral cooperation and expressed his appreciation for Huang’s personal contribution to the development of Kazakhstan’s domestic artificial intelligence ecosystem.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev identified the development of artificial intelligence and digitalization as national priorities and noted that 2026 had been declared the Year of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence in Kazakhstan.
The President welcomed NVIDIA’s partnership with Higgsfield, noting that Kazakhstan was proud to see the company as part of its domestic technology ecosystem.
In turn, NVIDIA Co-Founder and President Jensen Huang commended the strategic vision set out by the President at the beginning of the industrial revolution to declare Kazakhstan an AI nation – a country committed to the development and widespread adoption of artificial intelligence. He also proposed that Kazakhstan become a global hub for Physical AI.
He also highlighted the substantial progress made over the past year in NVIDIA’s cooperation with Kazakhstan, particularly in strengthening ties with technology companies.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Head of State awarded Jensen Huang the Order of Dostyk (Order of Friendship) of I degree, in recognition of his contribution to the development of artificial intelligence in Kazakhstan.
