Agricultural fairs under the “Dala Dami” initiative are being held across Kazakhstan. This week, more than 7,500 tonnes of agricultural and food products were offered to consumers across all regions of the country, with over 3,000 tonnes supplied to Astana.

The “Dala Dami” fairs are held in every region of Kazakhstan and aim to provide the public with affordable agricultural products, support domestic producers, and promote direct trade between farmers and consumers. This format allows producers to sell their goods without intermediaries, while giving residents the opportunity to purchase fresh, high-quality food directly from producers.

Astana is one of the major venues hosting these fairs, where farmers from across Kazakhstan regularly showcase their products.

For example, this weekend, on 24–25 October, more than 140 agricultural producers and enterprises from the Karaganda and Kostanay regions are presenting their products at the Kazanat Hippodrome in the capital. The total volume of products delivered from the two regions exceeds 3,000 tonnes.

It is worth recalling that interregional agricultural fairs have been held in Astana since 19 September. During this period, agricultural producers from various regions of the country have taken part in the events.

Specifically, on 19–20 September, farmers from the Kyzylorda and Atyrau regions presented their products. On 3–4 October, producers from the Aktobe and East Kazakhstan regions participated, followed by farmers from the West Kazakhstan and Turkistan regions on 10–11 October. On 17–18 October, agricultural producers from the North Kazakhstan, Pavlodar and Ulytau regions brought their products to the capital.

The “Dala Dami” fairs help expand market opportunities for domestic producers, develop interregional trade, and improve public access to affordable food products.
