A meeting of the working group on combating the spread of narcotic drugs and preventing drug addiction was held in the city of Kokshetau. The event was attended by the heads of approximately 30 kindergartens across the city.
The meeting addressed issues related to preventing drug addiction among minors, engaging with parents, and promoting healthy lifestyles among children. Participants also discussed the use of artificial intelligence technologies
in preventive efforts, as well as the development and distribution of the “Alakan” mobile application. New formats for conducting drug prevention awareness campaigns among young people and opportunities to use digital technologies were also considered.
Drug addiction prevention is a shared responsibility. Strengthening cooperation between educational institutions, parents, and relevant organizations is essential in this regard.
