On October 16, a roundtable discussion entitled “The Formation and Historical Role of Turkic Tribes in Zhetysu” was held at the Mukhamedzhan Tynyshbayev Historical and Local History Museum.
The event was attended by historians, history teachers from secondary schools, and students. During the roundtable, participants exchanged views on the historical heritage of Turkic tribes in the Zhetysu region, archaeological and historical-cultural monuments, and the importance of local history studies in shaping national historical consciousness.
In addition, the participants discussed the effective use of historical sources in the educational process, ways to engage younger generations in the history of their native land, and the preservation of historical and cultural heritage.
The museum also organized a guided tour of the exhibition dedicated to the Turkic era. Visitors received detailed information about historical artifacts reflecting the rich heritage of this period.
