In the women's penal colony in the Abai region, female employees, along with men, perform responsible official tasks on a daily basis, demonstrating a high level of professionalism, self-control and dedication to their chosen profession.
Serving in the penitentiary requires deep knowledge, responsibility, psychological stability and the ability to make decisions in difficult situations. Today, women successfully serve in units that were traditionally considered male.
In the operational department of the institution, four female employees serve, performing operational tasks, participating in preventive work and ensuring security. Four female employees also work in the security department, ensuring compliance with the established procedure and requirements of the regime.
One example of professional excellence is the head of the security department, Balnur Akhmetkhanova, who has been serving in the penal system since April 2012. Over the years, she has gained significant experience and established herself as a competent leader.

The head of the operational Department, Captain of Justice Daria Muratbekovna Apisarova, has 9 years of service experience and successfully leads the operational unit. Under her leadership, tasks are carried out to ensure a stable operational environment, prevent violations and maintain law and order.
Operational work requires care, responsibility and the ability to make the right decisions. The main thing in our profession is dedication, teamwork and continuous development," said Daria Apisarova.
