On September 29, the Astana Tourism Development Center, in cooperation with SCAT Airlines and as part of a signed memorandum, presented Astana’s tourism potential and the airline’s winter flight schedule for 2026/2027 in Novosibirsk.
The presentation brought together 115 representatives of Novosibirsk’s tourism industry.
Participants were introduced to Astana’s calendar of events, new tourist attractions, Wonderland Astana winter town, as well as opportunities to develop new travel packages and increase tourist flows between the two cities.
Russia remains one of Astana’s key tourism markets, with Russian visitors accounting for approximately 40% of the total number of tourists visiting the capital.
Cooperation with airlines helps improve Astana’s accessibility as a travel destination, integrate the capital into new routes, including transit routes, and create additional opportunities to attract international visitors.
In turn, Astana Tourism serves as a link between airlines, tourism businesses, and other industry stakeholders, bringing together their capabilities to develop new tourism products and routes to Astana.
