A regular meeting of the Commission on Juvenile Affairs and Protection of Their Rights was held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Akim of Almaty, Chairman of the Commission, Abzal Nukenov.
During the meeting, issues related to ensuring the safety and protection of the rights of minors were considered. In particular, the situation at the Center for Support of Children in Need of Special Social Services No. 2 was discussed, as well as issues of taking preventive and support measures in respect of a minor.
Members of the Commission heard information from the responsible state bodies and organizations, discussed the identified problematic issues and the necessary response measures.
Following the results of the meeting, specific instructions were given to the responsible state bodies and organizations to eliminate the identified shortcomings and ensure the rights and safety of children. Special attention was instructed to be paid to strengthening preventive work and social and psychological-pedagogical support for minors.
