On September 28 of this year, O. Bocharnikova, Head of the Akim’s Office of Zhaksynsky District and Ethics Commissioner, held an awareness-raising and preventive event for civil servants of the State Institution “Office of the Akim of Zhanakiyma Rural District of Zhaksynsky District.”
During the event, the key recent developments in the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on civil service and anti-corruption were explained.
Particular attention was paid to the expansion of the list of situations involving conflicts of interest, restrictions imposed on civil servants, including those related to gambling, as well as liability for corruption-related offenses.
The event also separately addressed client-oriented approaches, compliance with the standards of official ethics, and business etiquette when interacting with citizens.
