On September 24, O. Bocharnikova, Head of the Akim’s Office of Zhaksynsky District and Commissioner for Ethics, held an awareness-raising and preventive event for civil servants of the State Institution “Office of the Akim of the Ishim Rural District of Zhaksynsky District” as part of Standard Basic Area No. 4, “Prevention and Combating Corruption.”
During the event, the main provisions and recent amendments to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Civil Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan,” as well as anti-corruption legislation, were explained.
Particular attention was paid to restrictions related to civil service, including issues concerning the joint service of close relatives and other related persons.
The event also addressed compliance with official ethics and rules of conduct, refraining from visiting gambling establishments, the inadmissibility of imposing religious beliefs, and coercing subordinates to participate in the activities of religious associations.
