Structure — Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The Committee is a government agency responsible for the development and regulation of artificial intelligence, innovation, electronic industry and digital assets. The main tasks of the Committee are the formation and implementation of state policy in these areas, stimulation of innovation and scientific and technical activities, as well as support for technological development. The Committee carries out regulatory and legal regulation, intersectoral coordination and advisory support in the supervised areas, coordinates the activities of the Astana Hub International Technology Park, which is one of the key platforms for the development of IT startups and innovative projects in Kazakhstan. The Committee actively cooperates with national and international organizations to promote Kazakhstan's interests on the world stage.

The Committee`s major task is development of public policy in the field of public service delivery, their optimization, automation and delivery based on one-stop shop principle. To implement this, the Committee performs coordination of government agencies` activities in the field of public service delivery as well as operation of information systems. Moreover, the Committee assesses the quality of online public services delivery, provides practical and methodological assistance to government agencies on issues relating to electronic document and digital signature, performs coordination of activities for “Government for Citizens” Public Corporation, controls operation of e-Gov Portal and Integrated Call Center (1414).
