Kanat Abdusalimovich was born on January 9, 1964 in the state farm "Birlik" of the Abai district. In 1991, he graduated from the Sanitary and Hygienic Faculty of the Karaganda State Medical Institute (KSMI) with a degree in "Hygienist-epidemiologist".⠀ In 1996 he graduated from the full-time postgraduate course of KSMU, Candidate of Medical Sciences.
