Biography
Shatyrbekova Gulsim Alkebayevna was born in 1969 in Shymkent city. She graduated the Pedagogical Institute of Culture of Al-Farabi in Shymkent. Specialty - librarian-bibliographer.
1990-1993 – Leading bibliographer of the Central Library of M. Gorky in Shymkent city
1993-2000 – Leading Methodologist of the Central Library of M. Gorky in Shymkent city.
2000-2009 – librarian of the reader service department of the central library of Abay of the Central Library of the Shymkent city.
2009-2018 – Head of the Reader Services Department of the Central Library of Abay in Shymkent city.
In July 2018, she was appointed director of Municipal Government Institution of the Centralized System of Mass Libraries in Shymkent
