Biography
Ansagan Skenderuly Baltabekov
Graduated from the Kazakhstan State Law Academy in 2000.
Completed his studies at the National Defense University in 2023.
From June 2002 to February 2017, he served in various officer and leadership positions within the personnel of the State Security Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From February 2017 to March 2019, he served in the national security agencies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From March 2019 to May 2022, he held various leadership positions in the personnel of the State Security Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From May 2022 to January 2023, he served as Deputy Chief of the State Security Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Since September 18, 2024, he has been the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 5, 2023, he was awarded the military rank of "Major General."
By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 6, 2026, he was awarded the military rank of Lieutenant General.
He has been awarded the Order of “Dank” (2nd class), the medals “For Impeccable Service” (2nd and 3rd class), as well as other commemorative medals.
