Umbetov Kairat Zharylkasynovich

Kairat Zharylkasynovich was born on September 10, 1977 in the city of Chirchik, Tashkent region, Republic of Uzbekistan.

- Graduated from the Chirchik Higher Tank Command Engineering School, specializing in command tactical engineering and technical support (1994-1998);

- National Defense University, specializing in management of combined arms units and formations (2009);

- National Defense University, Faculty of the General Staff Academy of the Armed Forces,
Specialty – Strategic Management in Military Affairs (2018).

From 1998 to 2001 - served from the commander of the anti-tank platoon of the 1st parachute platoon to the commander of the maneuver group of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
From 2002 to 2007. - from the commander of the first operational designation company of the battalion on the armored personnel carrier to the battalion commander of military unit 6506;
From 2009 to 2010 - commander of military unit 5512;
From 2010 to 2011 - commander of military unit 6679;
From 2013 to 2014 - commander of military unit 5518;
From 2014 to 2016 - chief of staff - first deputy commander of military unit 6505;
From 2016 to 2018 - deputy chief of the main combat training directorate, then deputy chief of the main operational directorate of the General Command of the National Guard;
From 2018 to 2020 - commander of military unit 6506;
From September 17, 2020 to May 2022 - First Deputy Commander of the Batys Regional Command - Chief of Staff.
From May 30, 2022 - Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard for educational and social and legal work.
He has more than 8 medals of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the title of "Halyk Kaharmany" with the award of a special distinction - the Gold Star and the Order of "Otan", and is also the winner of the "100 New Faces of Kazakhstan" project.
By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on May 5, 2023, he was awarded the military rank of Major General.
