Biography
Berik Musinov was born in 1986 in Ust-Kamenogorsk, East Kazakhstan region.
In 2008, he graduated from the Kazakh University of Economics, Finance and International Trade in Astana with a degree in State and Local Government (Bachelor's degree), in 2010 he received a Master's degree in Economics.
In 2017, he graduated from the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Astana with a degree in Management and received a Master's degree in Economics and Business. He completed international internships and advanced training courses at the Scandinavian Institute of Academic Mobility (Seinajoki, Finland), AsPeKonsult LLP (Tallinn, Estonia).
He started his career in October 2008 as an expert in the Strategic Planning Department of the Department of Strategic Planning and Intersectoral Coordination of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Since April 2012, he has been appointed Chief Expert of the Department of Strategic Development and Analysis of the Department of Strategic Development and International Cooperation of the Ministry of Oil and Gas of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
October 2014 – Head of the Strategic Planning Department of the Strategic Planning and Analysis Department of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
March 2019 – Head of the Personnel Development Department of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
September 2019 – Deputy Director of the Department of Strategic and Information Development of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Since July 2023, he has been the Director of the Strategic Development Department of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
