Talapov Sherkhan

Born on August 15, 1993.

He graduated from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University with a degree in Philology, Literary Studies, and World Languages.

As part of the academic mobility program, he studied at Gazi University (Ankara, Turkey).

Laureate of the "Shabyt" International Festival of Creative Youth and the "Daryn" State Youth Prize.

2013: Began his career as a content manager for the Massaget.kz educational and informational portal.

2015 – 2019: Editor-in-Chief of the Ult.kz information portal.

Various years: Held positions as a manager in the Information and Image Work Department, an expert in the Monument Research Sector of the Scientific and Methodological Work Department, and an advisor to the Director of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Other experience: Worked as an editor at Top Press Media LLP and as a leading researcher at the President's Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2022 – 2023: Advisor to the Chairman of the Management Board of Kazteleradio JSC and freelance advisor to the Minister of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2023 – 2024: Advisor to the Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2025 – 2026: Acting Director of the Republican State Institution "Heraldic Research Center" of the Committee of Archives, Documentation and Book Publishing of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Since April 2026: Appointed Deputy Chairman of the Culture Committee of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
