Biography
Medet Tarbayev was born on 12.11.1986 in Taldykorgan city, Almaty region
Education:
2004-2008 – Almaty Institute of Power Energy and Telecomunications, Almaty, Kazakhstan, Bachelor's degree in Heat Power Engineering.
2008-2010 – Almaty Institute of Power Energy and Telecomunications, Almaty, Kazakhstan, specialty Heat Power Engineering, Master of Engineering and Technology.
Labor activity:
From 2010 to 2011, he worked as an engineer for the control of the CRR WWR-K reactor at the Nuclear Research Institute of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From 2011 to 2017, he was transferred to the position of an engineer for accounting and control of nuclear materials, CRR WWR-K, at the RSE INP of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From April 2018 to October 2018, he was an expert at the division Control Materials and International Safeguards (hereinafter referred to as Division) of the Committee for Atomic and Energy Supervision and Control of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as CAESC).
From November 2018 to February 2019, the chief specialist of the Territorial Department for the Pavlodar region of the CAESC of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From February 2019 to February 2021, the chief expert of Division.
From February 2021 to April 2023, the head of Division.
From April 2023 to November 2023, Deputy Chairman of the CAESC of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From December 2023 to June 2025, the head of Division.
From July 2025 to the present, he has been the head of the Division Committee for Atomic Supervision and Control of the Atomic Energy Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
