Takiev Madi Tokeshovich

Biography
Takiev Madi was born on April 1, 1978, in Bakanas village, Balkhash district, Almaty region.
He graduated from the Kazakh State Academy of Management in 1998 with a degree in Accounting and Auditing, and from the D. Kunaev Humanitarian University in 2005 with a degree in Law.
In 2011, he received a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of International Business.
He is married and has three sons.
State awards include “Yeren yenbegi ushin”, the Order of “Kurmet”, as well as commemorative medals and departmental awards.
He started his career in 1998 as the chief accountant of the Institute of State and Law of the Ministry of Science -the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2000-2008 – inspector, supervisor, chief tax inspector, head of departments for work with SMEs, audit of the Tax Committee in Almaty.
In 2008-2009 – Head of the Excise Tax Administration Department of the Almaty Region Tax Department.
In 2009-2012 – Deputy Head of the Tax Department in Almaty.
In 2012-2013 – Head of the Department of the Tax Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2013-2014 – Director of the Department of Tax and Customs Policy of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2014, he was the Chief Consultant of the Socio-Economic Department of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2014-2017, he was the Head of the Department of State Revenue for the Atyrau region.
In 2017-2019 – Director of the Tax Control Department of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2019-2020 – Vice Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2020-2023 – Head of the Department of Socio-economic Monitoring of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
03.2023-06.02.2024 - Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the VII convocation, Chairman of the Finance and Budget Committee of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, member of the AMANAT Party Faction in the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Since February 6, 2024 - Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
