Biography
Dzhaksembayev Samat Zhangazyevich was born on February 22, 1988 in the village of Koyankoz in the Kerbulak district of Taldykorgan region. In 2007, he graduated with honors from the Tchaikovsky Music College in Almaty with a degree in Dombrist. In 2011, he graduated from the Kazakh National University of Arts in Astana with a degree in Traditional Musical Art: folk Instruments. While studying at the university, he worked as a solo performer in the ensemble "Shat" of this educational institution.
From 2012 to 2013, he worked as a teacher of the Dombra class at the N.Tlendiev Music School in Taldykorgan. In 2012, he was accepted into the orchestra of folk instruments named after M. Tolebaev of the Almaty Regional Philharmonic named after Suyunbai as a dombra instrumentalist and worked as an orchestra concertmaster until 2014. In addition, since 2012 he has been the artistic director of the Dombyra-Dastan circle of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics. From 2017 to 2018, he worked as Deputy director of the Almaty Regional Philharmonic named after Suyunbai. In 2018, he joined the M. Tolebayev Orchestra of Folk Instruments again as a dombrist instrumentalist. Since September 2022, Director of the Philharmonic of the Zhetisu region.
