Biography
Istambekova Gulzhikhan Zhumakhanovna - General Director of the municipal state institution "State Archive of the Region of Zhetіsu" of the state institution "Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation of the Region of Zhetіsu" was born 13.09.1977 Almaty. She graduated from the Institute named after Academician Dzholdasbekov with a degree in law, the Academy of Economics and Law named after U.A. Dzholdasbekov with a degree in finance, Mangistau Humanitarian and Technical University with a degree in pedagogy and psychology.
Career
From 2005 to 2012, she worked at MSC Promsnab LLP as a lawyer. From 2012 to 2014, she worked as a psychologist at a branch of an initiative school in Almaty. From 2014 to 2018, she was the head of the department for monitoring the work of departmental archives in the Taldykorgan State Archive. In 2018, she was appointed Director of the Municipal State Institution "Taldykorgan State Archive" of the State Institution "Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation of Almaty Region." Since 2022, she has been working as Director General of the State Archive of the Region Zhetіsu State Institution "Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation of the region Zhetіsu"
He has letters of thanks from the Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation of Almaty Region, for merits in the high-quality performance of public services in the field of archival affairs from the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as a certificate of honor from the Committee for the Management of Archival Affairs and Documentation of the Ministry of Culture and Dispute.
