Bayakhmetov Bakytzhan Kakenkadzhievich

Born on August 29, 1970 in Almaty. Citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 1992, he graduated from the Kazakh Order of the Red Banner of Labor Agricultural Institute with a specialty “electrification of agriculture”. In 2008, he graduated from the Central Asian University with a specialty “finance”.

• 1992 – 2005 worked in the energy sector of East Kazakhstan region.
• 2005 - 2008 - Deputy mayor of Ayagoz district of East Kazakhstan region;
• 2009 - Head of public procurement and organizational and legal division of the Committee of Information and Archives of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
• Chief expert of state and budget planning division of the Ministry of Environmental Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
• 2009 - 2010 - Head of construction unit of Ust-Kamenogorsk city;
• 2010-2014 - mayor of Ayagoz town, Ayagoz district;
• 2014 - mayor of Ulan district of East Kazakhstan region;
• 2014 - 2019 - mayor of Ayagoz district of East Kazakhstan region;
• 2019 -2021 - Deputy mayor of East Kazakhstan region;
• 2021 -2022 mayor of Semey city of Abay region.
• August 26, 2022 - January 14, 2023, deputy of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
• February 6, 2023, he was appointed chief of staff of the mayor of the East Kazakhstan region.
  Total work experience - 30 years, as a civil service - 17 years.
  By Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 3, 2020 No. 461, he was awarded a state award “Eren Enbegi Ushin”.
