Biography
Yerbol Kurentayuly Izbergenov was born in 1973. He holds a higher education degree in civil engineering and has a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
He began his professional career in 1991 as a bricklayer at the construction and installation unit of the integrated expedition "Mangistaumunaigasbarlau."
Over the years, he worked in various regional construction organizations and the Akimat of Aktau city, and held positions such as Deputy Akim of Munaily District and Head of the Regional Department of Construction.
He also served as head of departments in the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2019–2020, he was Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Special Economic Zone "Seaport Aktau," and later became Director of the Republican Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken."
From 2020 to 2023, he served as Deputy Akim of Aktau city, and subsequently as Akim (Mayor) of Aktau.
In 2024–2025, he held the position of First Deputy Akim of Mangystau Region.
