    Biography

    Askhat Oralov was born on February 10, 1990, in the city of Aksu, Pavlodar Region.

    He received his higher education at the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, graduating in 2012 and 2014. In 2014, he continued his studies at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (University) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. He holds qualifications as a translator, a Master of Humanities, and a Master of International Relations, as well as a PhD degree.

    He was awarded the "Kurmet" Order in 2022 and the Certificate of Honor of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2018.

    Askhat Oralov began his career in 2011 at L.N. Gumilyov ENU, working with youth organizations. Later, he served as a senior specialist in the protocol department of the same university.

    From 2014 to 2016, he was the Deputy Chairman of the Astana city branch of the "Nur Otan" party. From 2016 to 2018, he headed the Department of Youth Policy of Astana city.

    He worked as the Director of the Youth Policy Department at the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Civil Society, and later held leadership positions in the youth and family affairs committees.

    From 2019 to 2020, he was Deputy Akim (Governor) of Pavlodar Region, after which he served as Vice Minister of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

    In 2021–2022, he was Deputy Akim of Nur-Sultan city. He then became the Executive Secretary of the "Nur Otan" party (later renamed "Amanat").

    In 2023, he held the post of Minister of Culture and Sports. From March 2024 to September 2025, he served as State Inspector at the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
