From 2010 to 2014, he worked as a chief specialist, head of the department of the Internal Policy Department of the Akimat of the Kostanay region. From 2014 to 2017, he held the positions of the head of the akim's apparatus, deputy akim of the district in the Altynsara district. Subsequently, he was appointed head of the department of the Kostanay regional branch of the Nur Otan party. From January to December 2018, worked as deputy akim of the Karabalyk region. Prior to his appointment as akim of the Karabalyk region, he was the deputy akim of the Kamystinsky region.
