Zhakanbayev Alibek Askarbekovich

Born in 1964. Higher education. He graduated from the Kazakh Agricultural Institute of the Red Banner of Labor, the Kazakh National Agrarian University in the specialties – "forestry", "state and local administration".

He began his career as a worker of the state farm "Levoberezhny" in the Alakolsky district.

For many years he worked in the field of forestry in the city of Usharal, Alakol district. He held the positions of akim of the Sarkan, Alakol and Enbekshikazakh districts, deputy akim of the Almaty region.

Since June 2022, he has been appointed deputy akim of the Zhetisu region.
