Deputy Akim of Altynsarin District for Economic Affairs

Key Responsibilities

Oversees the areas of economy and finance, entrepreneurship, implementation of state programs for business development and support within the scope of competence, maintenance of district infrastructure, regional life-support programs, industrial and civil construction, social protection and employment, provision of social assistance to vulnerable population groups, public health, and advisory councils on social policy.

Responsible for:

• public procurement;

• tax, financial and credit discipline;

• analysis of the district's socio-economic development;

• improvement of intergovernmental fiscal relations;

• digitalization initiatives;

• development of the "Economy of Simple Things" program.

Coordinates:

• the formulation of strategic goals and priorities in economic and budget planning;

• implementation of state policy in the fields of economy, budget planning, local budget execution, municipal property management, healthcare, and the social sector.

In cooperation with subordinate departments:

• develops the district budget and economic and social development programs;

• ensures financial support for the functions of subordinate government institutions;

• implements state policy at the district level.

Also:

• oversees social protection and employment promotion programs;

• monitors compliance with regulations and service standards for the delivery of public services within supervised departments;

• promotes entrepreneurship and investment development in the district;

• supervises issues related to state property, privatization, reorganization, and liquidation of enterprises;

• performs other duties assigned by the Akim.

• District Council for the Rehabilitation and Social Integration of Persons with Disabilities;

• Special Commission for Verification of Employment Records during the Great Patriotic War;

• Commission on Social Support Measures for Social Sector Specialists;

• Municipal State Enterprise Altynsarin District Hospital;

• Pharmaceutical institutions;

• Altynsarin District Career Center, a branch of the Municipal State Institution Labor Mobility Center of Kostanay Region;
