Biography
Aibek Shampanovich Turyshev was born on December 1, 1982, in the Aktobe region.
Higher education, graduated from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (Faculty of Law), the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (foreign Policy, Master's degree) and the Almaty Academy of Economics and Statistics (Bachelor of Finance).
He holds the class rank of Senior Counselor of Justice.
He has been awarded the medals «For Military Valor», «30 Years of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan» as well as departmental medals «For Impeccable Service» of the I, II, and III degrees, and the badge «Excellence in the Prosecutor’s Office».
He is married and has four children.
He began his professional career in 2004 as an assistant prosecutor of the Kargaly District in the Aktobe region.
From 2006 to 2013, he held various positions in the transport prosecutor’s office.
From 2013 to 2022, he held various senior positions in the territorial departments and central offices of the financial police and the Economic Investigation Service.
Since 2022, he has been serving in the General Prosecutor’s Office, where he also held various leadership positions.
On February 28, 2025, he was appointed Head of the Public Interest Protection Service of the General Prosecutor’s Office.
