Biography
Sikymbek A. Sh. was born on May 10, 1957 in the village of Kuigan, Balkhash district, Almaty region. In 1964, he entered the first class of the Bozzhanov Secondary school. He graduated from high school in the village of Karaoy, Balkhash district.
After serving in Vladivostok in the ranks of the Navy, he studied at the Philological Faculty of the Kazakh State University named after S. M. Kirov.
His journalistic activity began in 1984 in the newspaper editorial office "BalkashEnbekkeri" in the Balkhash district. In 1984-1988, he worked as a correspondent, head of the agricultural department, responsible secretary in this newspaper editorial office.
After that, his career continued in the newspaper editorial office of "Shugyl" in the Kurtinsky district of Almaty region as the head of the department, the executive editor of the Kazakh Radio. Advanced training at the Inter-Republican TV and Radio Committee in Moscow.
He worked as the head of the Kazakh edition in the country of the TV company "NC-TV-2", the chief editor of the city newspaper "NK-INFO", the Director of the branch of the company in Marynarska the heart of TV channel "Raiymbek" and chief editor of the newspaper "Trsk".
In 2000-2002, he was Deputy Editor-in-chief of the newspaper "VashTranscurrier" of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Since 2002, he has become the director of "BilimAlemi", "Altina" LLP and publishes the republican newspaper "BilimAlemi", the teacher's newspaper" Keleshek "in Zhambyl district and another teacher's newspaper" Mektepomiri " in Enbekshikazakh district. Under his leadership, the republican art magazine "OnerAlemi" and the magazine "45 Minutes"are published. Since 2010, he has been in a new position-editor-in-chief of the Kapshagai city socio-political newspaper "NurlyOlke".
