Biography
1988 - Graduated from Moscow State University named after M.Lomonosov, Faculty of Economics.
Professional Experience
1994 - 2000 - senior positions in the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Halyk Bank and Almaty Merchant Bank.
In 2000 was appointed as CEO of the National postal operator "Kazpost".
2006 - 2013 - Chairman of the Agency for Regulation of the Regional Financial Centre of Almaty (RFCA).
Since 2014, within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.
1 June 2014 - A. Arystanov was appointed as an Investment Counsellor at the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in France.
6 June 2019 – by Decree of the President of Kazakhstan was appointed as an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Singapore.
21 December 2019 - by Decree of the President of Kazakhstan was concurrently appointed as the Ambassador to New Zealand.
22 May 2020 - by Decree of the President of Kazakhstan was concurrently appointed as the Ambassador to the Commonwealth of Australia.
Doctor of Economic Sciences, awarded two orders and two state medals of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
