The 7th International “Altyn Dombra” Competition for Solo Dombra Performers and Performers on Three-String Folk Instruments, named after Azidolla Eskaliyev, People's Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, will be held in Atyrau on October 29–30, 2026.
The Altyn Dombra International Competition is a cultural project aimed at promoting Kazakhstan’s national musical heritage, contributing to the development of the art of küy performance, and strengthening creative ties among performers of traditional music.
The competition will be held at the N. Zhantorin Regional Philharmonic.
