
Prague, 19 August 2026 – A meeting was held in Prague between Kazakh diplomats and citizens of Kazakhstan studying and working in the Czech Republic. The open exchange of views focused on current issues of Kazakhstan’s socio-political development, including the implementation of the constitutional reform, further improvement of the public administration system, and the establishment of the new highest representative body – the Kurultai.
Particular attention was paid to the provisions of the new Constitution aimed at further developing the political system, strengthening representative institutions, and expanding citizens’ participation in public life. Participants were also briefed on the upcoming elections to the Kurultai and their significance for the further implementation of the constitutional reforms.
The important role of young people in the country’s socio-political life was also emphasised. Representatives of the Embassy called on citizens of Kazakhstan residing abroad to take an active part in the elections and exercise their constitutional right to vote.
