The Prosecutor's Office of the Ulan district of the East Kazakhstan region, with the assistance of the Committee for the Protection of Investors' Rights of the State Duma of the Republic of Kazakhstan, defended the rights of DTJ Commerce LLP, which is implementing a project to build the Ulan transport and logistics center.
The total cost of the project is 20.3 billion tenge. The completion of the facility is scheduled for 2027.
During the support of the investment project, the prosecutor's office considered the issue of the refusal of the local executive body to provide a land plot with an area of 0.27 hectares in the village of Kasym-Kaisenova.
At the initiative of the Prosecutor's office, a commission examination was conducted with the participation of representatives of authorized state bodies and specialists. It has been established that the provision of the initially requested land plot is impossible due to the current restrictions. At the same time, the prosecutor's office, together with the authorized bodies, has worked out an alternative option for the location of the facility.
Based on the results of the work carried out, the investor was provided with another land plot with an area of 0.18 hectares that meets the requirements of land legislation. The necessary title documents are currently being drawn up.
In addition, with the assistance of the Prosecutor's Office, the lease period of the previously provided land was extended, which made it possible to eliminate risks during the implementation of the investment project.
The measures taken made it possible to eliminate administrative barriers in the field of land relations, restore investor rights and ensure the further implementation of the project without undue delays.
