1.4 billion tenge (US$1.5 billion) has been allocated from the recovered assets to modernize water supply and sanitation systems in the Akmola region.
As part of the President's instructions to recover illegally acquired and exported assets and use them for the country's socioeconomic development, construction of a water supply and sanitation system is underway in the Akmola region. The government has allocated 1.4 billion tenge (US$1.5 billion) from the Special State Fund for these purposes, according to reports.
