The head of the region, Murat Ergeshbayev, met with members of the regional public council. The meeting was attended by heads of departments and agencies, as well as representatives of the media.
The akim of the region congratulated the meeting participants on the entry into force of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan and noted the historical significance of the constitutional reforms initiated by the Head of State in modernizing the country's political system.
–The new Constitution defines the protection of human rights and freedoms, ensuring the rule of law, enhancing the efficiency of state institutions, and building a society based on the principles of a Just Kazakhstan as its main priorities. These changes will strengthen trust between the state and society and provide new opportunities for citizens to actively participate in the country's development.
Today, I am glad to meet with you to exchange views. The Public Council is a golden bridge between the government and society, an important institution that unites the interests of the country. I am confident that your life experience, opinions, and proposals on state matters will serve as a guide in our future work.

At the meeting, members of the regional public council expressed their opinions: academician of the National Academy of Sciences, Professor Kylyshbai Bisenov, deputies of the regional maslikhat Zhorabek Nurymbetov, Kairat Ernazarov, director of the M. Mametova Kyzylorda Pedagogical Higher College, regional commissioner for children's rights Zhaksygul Toganova, private entrepreneur Pirmukhamed Syzdyk, and chief editor of the "Qyzylorda" TV channel Ainur Tungyshbayeva.
The Public Council is of great importance in forming a platform for constructive dialogue on important issues. Council members are active in expressing the interests of residents, discussing topical issues of socio-economic development, education, healthcare, culture, ecology, and other spheres.
At today's meeting, proposals were also made regarding the gasification of settlements, rational use of water resources, the return of historical sites to state ownership, housing construction, and the implementation of investment projects.
