A series of educational lessons dedicated to the formation of girls' reproductive health was held in the East Kazakhstan region. The event was organized by the KSU "East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Educational Development "Yerken" of the East Kazakhstan Region Education Department. The lessons, conducted in two languages for students in grades 9-11, were conducted in an open interview format, which allowed them to create a trusting atmosphere and get answers to their most pressing questions.
Asisa Temirkhanova, an obstetrician-gynecologist at the Center for Mother and Child of East Kazakhstan Region, became the guest of honor and speaker. During the conversation, the expert highlighted in detail the key aspects of the maturation of the female body, emphasizing that reproductive health is not only physiology, but also a harmonious psycho—emotional state.
Asisa Sagyndykovna spoke about the norms of puberty, changes in the body and the importance of personal hygiene from an early age. Special attention was paid to the menstrual cycle: its formation, permissible fluctuations and "red flags", in which it is urgently necessary to consult a doctor. The specialist dispelled popular myths and urged girls not to be shy about visits to the gynecologist, starting at the age of 15, and in the presence of complaints — even earlier.
A significant part of the interview focused on the prevention of sexually transmitted infections and the impact of lifestyle — nutrition, sleep, physical activity, and stress — on hormones and future motherhood. The expert's main advice sounded like a parting word.: "Your body is only yours. Listen to him, take care of him, and don't be afraid to ask the experts questions." The lessons were an important step in raising the awareness of the younger generation and forming a responsible attitude towards their health.
