Yertugan Utegenov, Deputy Head of the Department of State Revenues for Mangystau Region and Ethics Commissioner, held a field working meeting with employees of the State Revenues Administration for Karakiya District.
During the visit, a working meeting with the administration’s staff and personal receptions for specialists and taxpayers of the district took place. Particular attention was paid to compliance with the ethical standards of the civil service, prevention of corruption risks, and improving the quality and transparency of interaction between tax authorities and citizens and businesses.
The event is aimed at strengthening the transparency of the activities of state revenue bodies, increasing public trust, and fostering a sustainable culture of ethical behaviour among employees. The format of a field meeting makes it possible to identify current issues on the ground and respond promptly to appeals from citizens and entrepreneurs.
Such meetings form part of the Department’s systematic work on corruption prevention and the development of an ethical culture within the state revenue bodies of Mangystau Region.
